KILLEEN, TX — A Killeen woman was taken to a local hospital due to her having difficulty breathing from smoke inhalation she suffered after her home caught fire Thursday morning.
The fire occurred in the 1300 block of Gray Drive in Killeen around 8 a.m. The fire was quickly contained. The living room was destroyed while the rest of the house sustained heat, smoke, and water damage.
The woman and her dog managed to get out the house without suffering any burns.
Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire.
