KPD receives new info on murder of 7-year-old, asks for more leads

The Killeen Police Department is asking the public to help revive a murder cold case.

Killeen Police Detective Fred Harris recently received information regarding the 1997 murder of a little 7-year-old girl who was kidnapped and found dead on Highway 195 near the Lampass River several days after the incident.

According to the KPD, cases like these are not closed and forgotten, but a short of leads for investigators. Any information on this homicide would help detectives solve what happened.
