GHOLSON -- McLennan County authorities are investigating after a man was found dead near his mobile home Sunday afternoon.

The 54-year-old's body was discovered around 12:30 p.m. off Rodgers Hill Road in the Gholson area.

The victim's name has not yet been released.

His body was sent to Dallas for autopsy.
