WACO -- Frugal's Grocery Outlet and Caritas food pantry have teamed up to help keep shelves stocked in preparation for summer.

Caritas typically sees an increase in need but a lull in donations during the summer.

So now, when shopping at Frugal's you can purchase a food box with 30 dollars worth of products for ten dollars and it will be donated to Caritas.

Employees at Frugal's say it feels good to help.

"To us, you know, we know what it sometimes feels like to struggle so we know what other people are going through. So it's just a fantastic idea for everybody all around," Assistant Manager at Frugal's, Susan Cabrera said.

If you'd like to help, Frugal's is located at the  300 block of Valley Mills in Waco.
