20 cents in only seven days
Waco, TX — Gas prices tend go up in the summer, and lately they have by almost 20 cents in the past ten days.
According to wacogasprice.com, the city of Waco is paying just below the state average of 3.50, but just a week ago it was 3.29.
That is nearly a 7% increase in just a week.
The federal government says the increases are starting to affect consumer pricing by .5%.
Don't expect a break anytime soon as experts say the unrest in Egypt is making it difficult to stabilize pricing amongst a list of factors like usage and refinery issues.
