Troy, TX — Construction along Interstate 35 Monday night will make for tighter shoulders and a lower speed limit along a 1.5 mile stretch just south of Troy.
Northbound traffic starting at Pendleton Rd (Exit 306) will be rerouted to newly-paved road tonight.
The work will extend all the way to FM 965 in Troy.
Crews will be resetting concrete barriers from 7 p.m to 7 a.m.
The effect on commuters from construction will be a much tighter road shoulder.
The speed limit will be lowered to 60 miles per hour as well.
TxDOT could not estimate how long the conditions would remain in effect.
