TEMPLE-- One man is in jail after pointing a gun at a family member Sunday morning in Temple.
The 911 call came in around 5:40 in the morning with a family member saying 25-year-old Adam Krautheim had a handgun inside a home with about 6 or 7 people inside, including children.
The SWAT team was dispatched to the home.
Around 8:15 officers were able to make their way into the house and arrest Krautheim with out further incident.
But police are still investigating why the gun was pulled in the first place.
"Just a bad argument and a handgun got pointed, and when that happens it turns into an aggravated assault, that's that," Lt. Edward Best of the Temple Police Department said.
Krautheim is now in Bell County Jail awaiting screening.
