An Aggie fan excited to watch one of the biggest games of the year at Kyle Field this weekend found out the hard way Saturday the tickets he purchased were fake.

Police say the victim purchased four A&M/Bama game tickets on Craigslist for $1,700. He met the seller at the George Bush Drive McDonald's before the game to finalize the transaction.

When he showed up to Kyle Field on game day with the tickets he was turned away at the gates because they were forgeries.

While police searched the area for the seller they found a different man, 46-year-old Terry Williams of Miami, Florida, also selling counterfeits.

Williams tried to run and tear up the tickets.

He was arrested and charged with evading arrest, seven counts of forgery and tampering with evidence.

Police don't believe Williams is the same man who sold the victim the Craigslist tickets.
