A Bryan man shoplifts, then steals a car to get away, crashes not once but twice and then steals a College Station ambulance responding to the scene.

Police say 28-year old Coty Lohse triggered an alarm at the Q Beauty shop after trying to shoplift. He then stole a delivery car that had its keys in the vehicle from CARQUEST to flee the area.

According to witnesses, Lohse, caused an accident at the intersection of West Villa Maria Road and Wellborn and then caused another accident at Harvey Mitchell and Jones Butler Road.

That's when police say Lohse stole a College Station Fire Department's ambulance that was responding to the scene.

Lohse then allegedly drove the ambulance through a McDonald's drive-thru and crashed it into a concrete pillar.

Lohse is charged with first degree theft and this isn't is first run-in with the law. He's already been arrested twice this month for various reasons.
