CENTRAL TEXAS -- Earlier this week Limestone and Bosque counties enacted burn bans.

Now two more counties won't be far behind. Both McLennan and Bell County are on the brink of another ban against outdoor burning.

Bell county is expected to enact a ban by sundown on Friday and McLennan County officials have been monitoring the drought index.

Parts of the county recorded as high as 595. A burn ban usually goes into effect at an average rating of 575. So they tell us it could be enacted by Tuesday.

We'll keep you updated.
