Austin (KWKT) — Authorities arrested a Bryan man listed as one of Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders. Ezekiel Harris was caught in Ennis, Texas, on August 13.
Harris, 28, taken into custody at an apartment complex by state troopers and the Ennis Police Department.
In 2004, the suspect was found guilty of sexual assault from an incident involving a 12-year-old girl in Brenham. He received 10 years' probation. Since then, Harris has repeatedly violated his probation and failed to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
In April 2013, Harris was released from TDCJ prison and began living in Bryan. He eventually failed to report a change of address, and as a result, the Brazos County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant for his arrest in May 2013 for failure to comply with sex offender registration.
This arrest was the result of tip information received and a reward will be paid.
