Motorcyclist killed in morning wreck

The motorcyclist has been identified as 29-year old Timothy Alexander Phillips of Waco.

It is believed that the motorcycle was speeding. Witnesses says the motorcycle driver had just passed several cars prior to hitting the pick-up.

Judge Lasseter pronounced Phillips deceased and ordered a blood sample to be taken. She did not order an autopsy.

A motorcyclist was killed this morning in a 2-vehicle crash in Waco.

It happened at around 6:40 a.m. at the intersection of Orchard and Kendall Lane.

Waco police tell KWKT that a truck turned left from Kendall onto Orchard, when the motorcycle crashed into the left front side of the pick-up. He we declared dead at the scene.

Officer have not released the motorcyclist's name pending notification of family.

The two passengers in the truck were unharmed.
