WACO - New information has been released in the case involving the suspected car burglar killed by two Waco police officers Saturday.

Officials now say Aaron Jay Harvey reportedly had a long history of theft.

The Waco Tribune reports he was released from prison in 2008 after serving 20 years of a 99-year sentence.

He was doing time for being a habitual offender for burglary.

Two members of the Waco Police Department shot and killed Harvey Saturday, after he threatened to shoot the officers.
