Salvation Army McLane Center of Hope
Temple, TX — On Monday afternoon, the Salvation Army broke ground on a homeless shelter in Temple.
The builiding aimed to help the needy and less fortunate is the first of its kind in Bell County.
The Salvation Army McLane Center of Hope will be located at West Avenue G and 9th Street.
The 22,000 square foot facility will accommodate up to 100 people at once.
Some of the services to be offered include shelter, meals and job training.
The center is slated to open by February 2015.
