One dies in Waco shooting

One person is dead following a shooting Monday night in Waco.

Police tell KWKT that two groups were arguing at the intersection of Princeton and Roland when gunfire erupted. One man was shot in the head.

The victim was being driven to the hospital in a private vehicle when it crashed near the Flying J Truck stop. The vehicle continued to drive until it broke down near Don Carlos Restaurant on the I-35 access road.

An ambulance was called to the scene and took the victim to a local hospital where he died from his wounds.

Police are currently working to determine the shooter.
