One person arrested in connection with Connally ISD burglaries

McLennan County — McLennan County Sheriffs along with Connally Police have identified and arrested a person in connection with the burglary of two Connally ISD schools and a local business in Elm Mott.
Erryl Broadman is facing four counts of burglary. Two for a burglary at the Texas Prestressed Concrete Company, and 2 additional counts for the burglary of the Connally ISD buildings. Broadman also has a pending burglary charge with a Waco incident.
A warrant was issued for a second suspect, for his involvement in the burglaries.
Connally ISD Police Chief Ronnie Price said, two white males and a white female broke into the Primary and Junior High School buildings between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Tuesday.
One man gained access into the school through a window. He then let the two other individuals in the school by propping the front door open with a rug.
The vandals walked through the halls, smashing glass and stealing electronics.
"We have chased down strong leads and are looking to move forward," Said Price.
The burglaries are currently still under investigation.
