Organizers apologize for Waco's failed fireworks show
Waco, TX — Organizers of Thursday night's fireworks show in Waco apologized on their Facebook page shortly after the show ended abruptly.
The show was slated for a 10 p.m. start but was delayed for about ten minutes.
The show eventually started and lasted for about eight minutes before technical difficulties caused yet another delay.
The crew did not have the proper battery to execute the program.
Families who had been waiting for hours to see a fun show wound up leaving with a less-than-stellar experience.
On the 'Brazos Nights' Facebook page, they said they were sorry for the mishap and promised to make it up to the community.
