Robinson, TX — Some concerns over raised taxes were brought up in a Robinson ISD bond proposal meeting Wednesday night.
On November 5, residents will be voting to approve or reject a $21,000,000 bond to build a new intermediate school for the local school district.
The current school sits in a 50-year-old building adjacent to the junior high.
The new tax would cost a family residing on a $100,000 piece of property $330 more per year in 2015, and $260 for the next five years after that.
There will be another meeting next Thursday at the St John United Church of Christ.
Early voting starts October 21.
