Shooting victim says "bullet fell out of the sky"
WACO -- A man was taken to the emergency room last night after being shot in the leg.
At 10 p.m. Wednesday police officers responded to a residential area near the intersection of Live Oak and North 24th Street in Waco.
There they found a 25-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his left leg.
"His comment was that a bullet fell out of the sky. Evidence leads us to believe that maybe is not the case but at this point we're investigating it to determine exactly what happened. We don't have any suspects other than the individual that was actually the one that was shot," said Sgt. Patrick Swanton.
No word on the man's condition as of yet. The investigation is ongoing.
