The South Knoll area neighborhood plan that we first told you about Thursday passed only after five and a half hours of deliberation and some amendments to the recommendations.

The College Station city council approved to pass the plan after listening to more than 40 speakers at its Thursday night meeting.

Before they approved the plan of around 60 recommendations though, council decided to turn down to major items including reducing the number of unrelated occupants in rental homes and on street parking removal.
