On Wednesday, via Twitter, Manu Ginobili announced he will be staying in San Antonio for at least two more years.

There were rumors circling the NBA circuit that Ginobili, 35, was going to retire after this season.

Details on the signing have yet to be released.

Ginobili averaged 11.8 points per game, 4.6 assists and 3.4 rebounds last season.

Ginobli showed his age in the Spurs' postseason run, especially in game four against the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. Ginobili bounced back in game five with a double-double, recording 24 points and 10 assists.

The Spurs also decided to re-sign Tiago Splitter on Tuesday.
