Storms knock out power for more than 2,800 in Bell Co.

Strong storms began rolling through Central Texas Monday afternoon. By early evening, more than 2,800 people were without electricity in Bell County.

According to the Oncor website, 2,890 homes were without power as of 5:15 p.m.

Crews are currently working to restore electricity. The estimated restoration time is 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
