WACO -- Over 300 low-income kids are now equipped with school supplies thanks to you and the Waco Salvation Army's Stuff the Bus drive.

Over the weekend buses were filled with backpacks, notebooks and other school supplies to send 330 registered students back to school with everything they need.

In fact so many people pitched in to help that there are even some supplies left over.

"Some kids came in and they were really excited to receive those items and they're ready for back to school. They were putting on their backpacks and running out of the church. They are ready," said Heather Helton, spokesperson for the Salvation Army Waco.

If you or someone you know still needs assistance, call the Salvation Army at (254) 753-2043.
