WACO -- Starting this Friday a swarm of shoppers will be hitting the stores for tax free weekend.
"Clothing is going to be tax free, school supplies, backpacks," said Sharon Nelson, executive team leader at Target Greatland.
Fortunately for back-to-school shoppers, this year time is on your side.
"Most campuses aren't going right back to school immediately following tax free which is a little different, so you do have a little bit of time to get your school supplies," said Nelson.
And supplies aren't the only necessities for students.
Baylor move-in started today.
"We flew down so we didn't buy anything there. We're buying everything here so we're finding anything that organizes and sorts and makes him feel like he's at home," said Jean Coley, mother of an incoming Baylor freshman.
"A lot of storage supplies and anything else you need for a dorm room," said Scott Hefner, father of incoming Baylor freshman.
But these shoppers are still looking for a tax break.
"Like pictures and cute things I'll come back on tax free weekend for," said Ellen Hefner, Baylor freshman.
And for those of you looking to avoid the chaos but still get a good deal break, Amazon.com will be participating in tax free weekend as well.
However there are deals you will find in stores that you can't get online.
"You can save an additional five percent if you use your Target red card or if you have a Target debit card that also saves you five percent," said Nelson.
