WACO -- Central Texas educators are trying to keep with with technology.

Today 130 teachers from 20 schools attended a technology conference at Region 12 Education Services Center in Waco.

There educators got to learn about new technology trends in the classroom and how to prepare students for high-tech jobs when they graduate.

"A great opportunity for teachers to get the latest technology training, bring that back to the students, so then the students can turn around and graduate with college credit. They can graduate with certifications and training that they need to go out into today's world," said Jennifer Marshall-Higgins, Region 12 spokesperson.

Teachers were trained in social networking, Photoshop, iPad basics and web creation just to name a few.
