Temple, TX (KWKT) — Monday evening, at about 10:20 p.m., Temple Police responded to a burglary report where witnesses saw several suspects enter a residence in the 1000 block of South 19th Street.
The witnesses advised several suspects had removed property from the house and placed the items into a vehicle. They further said that they knew the home owner, and felt the activity was suspicious since they had never seen the vehicle at that house before. A description of the suspect vehicle was provided to the officers.
While completing the initial burglary report a description of the vehicle was broadcast in an attempt to locate the car. Other patrol units were able to find a vehicle matching the description provided by the witnesses. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 400 block of South 11th Street. Officers were immediately able to observe several of the items reported stolen from the burglary in the back of the suspect car. All four occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody for Burglary of a Habitation.
They were identified as follows:

2: Calvin Sharard Davis, 25
3: Darryl Marcis Morrison, 21
4: Freddie Lee Westbrook, 29
All identified are from Temple.
The case will be reviewed by the Bell County District Attorney’s Office at a later date.
