According to ESPN Central Texas, the Houston Texans have cut safety, Ed Reed.

Reed, who was demoted and replaced by Shiloh Keo in the past two Houston losses. was quoted saying, after the loss to the Arizona Cardinals, the Texans were "outplayed and outcoached."

Reed signed with the Texans after playing a huge role in the Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers in February 2013. He had arthroscopic hip surgery causing him to miss training camp, pre-season and the first two regular season games against  the San Diego Chargers and the Tennessee Titans.
