Texas law now requires voters to show ID

A change in the voting laws in Texas now requires voters to present photo identification when voting.

Even in your local school board elections, a photo ID is now required. Starting Thursday, Texas driver license offices will begin issuing photo ID's to anyone who doesn't already have one. A photo ID is only necessary if someone doesn't already have a texas driver's license, personal ID card, concealed handgun license, U.S. passport, or military ID.
