WACO -- The last of three people linked to a string of bank robberies in Missouri and Central Texas has been sentenced to prison.
Jeffrey Brent Heckman was sentenced to 65 years in prison in U.S. District Court in Waco.
In March, Heckman pleaded guilty to two counts of bank robbery with a dangerous weapon and three counts of bank robbery and to carrying a firearm during a violent crime.
The charges stem from the robbery of a Texell Credit Union in Temple and four bank robberies in Missouri last year.
