FORT HOOD -- A Fort Hood family mourns the loss of their baby after the child wandered into a street and was ran over by a vehicle.

Just after 10 p.m. Saturday the 18-month-old was struck by a pickup in the inbound side of Bernie Beck Gate.

The baby was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The family's names have not been released as well as their positions on post.
