BRAZOS COUNTY, Tx (KYLE) — Highway Six in Brazos County just got a little faster.
Wednesday TxDOT crews took down the 70 MPH signs and replaced them with new 75 MPH signs.
The new, faster speed limits can be found between the Robertson and Grimes County lines.
TxDOT tells us a speed study was conducted before upping the highway speeds to ensure the faster limits could be traveled safely.
Parts of Texas 47 and Texas 21 in Brazos County will also see increased speeds as well.
