
COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Update: Police have area near Ash Street and Eisenhower blocked off. Police are armed and searching an apartment complex near a College Station chinsese church.
Police and A&M police and multiple agencies are searching for subject in the area.
Update: Police tell KYLE 28 that therew is a "situation in progress related to the robbery at University Drive and Texas Avenue.
Police are telling people in the area to stay indoors.
Update: The robbery suspect has left the scene, and police on in the process of hunting him down.
Police say he enterd the bank around 11:30 Friday morning.
He is a white male wearinfa white shirt with a zip-up athletic jacket. He also has a baseball cap on backwards with a shamrock on the front, with sunglasses on his face.
He brandished a handgun, and had parked behind the bank at an apartment complex in a light colored blue car.
Police say he was last seen going north on Stallings Drive.
He is believed to be armed an dangerous.
There is a bank robbery in progress at the Fedstar Credit Union in College Station.
This is the second robbery at this location this year.
