Victim identified, suspect arrested in early morning homicide

Killeen Police are investigating an early morning homicide.

It happened early Sunday morning at 3:14 when officers were called to a stabbing in the IHOP parking lot located in the 700 block of west CTE.

On arrival, officers found a woman, Kirsten Nicole Farr, 21, who was suffering from several stab wounds, she was immediately taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

Farr succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at 3:53 a.m., an autopsy will be performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.

According to witnesses, Farr was a passenger in a gold Cadillac in the IHOP parking lot, when she was approached by her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Jeremy Jones, 31.

A verbal altercation began and it quickly turned physical. Jones then stabbed Farr multiple times and fled the area.

Officers later found Jones at a home in Nolanville at 11:53 a.m., he was arrested without incident.

Jones was arraigned early Monday morning and his bond was set at $1 million. He is currently en route to Bell County Jail.

The Killeen Police Department is asking that anyone who was at the IHOP restaurant during this incident they are asked to contact Killeen Police Department.

Detectives who are investigating the murder of Kirsten Farr would like to speak to all the people who were at the IHOP when this murder occurred.

They realize that there were several people who may have left before the detectives could speak to them and they just wanted to ask a couple of questions for their investigation.
