CNN — Country music star, Willie Nelson, raised $125,000 for West, Texas and the Abbot Volunteer Fire Department.
Nelson organized a benefit concert after a deadly explosion at the fertilizer plant last month.
The legendary singer hails from Abbott, which is just a few miles from West.
The blast killed 14 people, most of them first responders.
It also damaged and destroyed numerous homes and businesses around the plant.
Investigators say the fire first started in the plant's fertilizer and seed building.
The explosion was so powerful it was felt as far as 50 miles away.
