After hearing from local business owners, Waco city leaders have revised their proposed changes to the city's sexually oriented business ordinance.

In local strip clubs, the city is no longer proposing that nude and semi-nude employees be at least six feet away from customers. The city is also changing their proposed requirement to license employees. Instead, the business owners must maintain a file on hand with information on employees, which includes a copy of the employee's ID, photograph of the employee's face, and a copy of a criminal history check.

A work session will be held in Tuesday night's city council meeting to discuss the proposed revisions.

The first reading of the proposed changes will be April 15. The second reading will be May 6. Following the second reading, businesses will have 90 days to comply.
