Waco to hold public input meeting about on-street parking

The city of Waco is looking for input from all citizens. City officials will host an informational session on proposed changes to Chapter 25 of the Code of Ordinances relating to on-street parking.

Anyone who has traffic and safety concerns related to on-street parking in local neighborhoods is encouraged to speak up at the parking public input meeting on Tuesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. in the City of Waco Operations Center-Training Room, located at1415 N. 4th Street.

Citizens are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting to share their concerns and visions for improving parking in residential areas within Waco.

A copy of the proposed ordinance can be found on the city of Waco website under “Latest News and Events.” Click on “Public Comment on On-Street Parking Ordinance,” or contact the City Secretary’s Office by phone at 254-750-5750 or in person at 300 Austin Ave. on the first floor of City Hall.
