If you haven't filed your taxes yet and you are looking for assistance in filing, you may want to stop by University High School's free tax filing services.

The school began offering the service on January 23 and will continue through April 15. This is the tenth year University High School is offering to file taxes for free. Since the program began, students have filed more than 12,000 tax returns, securing more than $19 million dollars in refunds, according to Waco ISD. The district also says "the service has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as the largest student run Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program in the country.

To get tax assistance, and even FAFSA filing assistance, just stop by University High School, located at 3201 South New Road on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursdays from 5 p.m.-8 p.m.
