Waco man arrested during Friday morning drug raid

A Waco man is in jail on a federal hold following an early morning drug bust.

According to Waco Police Department Spokesman W. Patrick Swanton, the bust took place at 6 a.m. on Friday at a home located in the 1100 block of Trice Avenue. SWAT and Drug Enforcement officers conducted a search of the home. During the search, officers uncovered 6.8 ounces of cocaine, marijuana, and two handguns, one of which didn't have a serial number.

Edward Outley, 39, was arrested on the scene. Outley is charged with possession of a controlled substance. Additional charges may be pending.
