Waco PD announces 2012 National Night Out

On Tuesday, August 7th 2012, the Waco Police Department invites everyone to participate in the 29th Annual National Night Out.

National Night Out is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, co-sponsored locally by the Waco Police Department National Night Out and by TARGET, the national corporate sponsor.

National Night out provides citizens with the opportunity to display a unified stance against crime and drugs in their neighborhoods by joining Neighborhood Watch and their Neighborhood Association.

From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. neighborhoods throughout Waco will be hosting a variety of special events such as block parties, cookouts, youth activities, a visit by police officers, anti-crime displays and rallies. The following neighborhoods will be hosting a National Night Out event:

Landon Branch Neighborhood Association-Sail from Ridgewood Marina at 7 p.m.
Kendrick Neighborhood Association-Kendrick Park
Alta Vista-Alta Vista Park
Brookview Neighborhood Association-Guthrie Park

North East Riverside Association-East Waco Park
