Waco PD to enforce new parking ordinance beginning September 1
Waco, Texas — The Waco City Council recently enacted City ordinance # 2014-296.
Beginning September 1st, owners of certain vehicles can no longer legally park these vehicles on a street, alley or public right-of-way inside of residential districts. Some of those vehicles include the following:
Commercial Vehicles, Trailers, Boats and Boat Trailers, Truck Tractor, RV’s, House Trailers and Farm Tractors.

The best way for citizens to determine where the City’s residential districts are located is to use the link below to access the City’s interactive map. You will need to select the layer that includes zoning.
A grace period will begin immediately and Waco Police Officers will distribute informational flyers between now and September 1st to help educate citizens about this new ordinance. Starting September 1st, 2014 Officers can take action under this new ordinance.
