Waco Police arrest two for possession of controlled substance, firearm, stolen property

Street Crimes Unit officers have arrested two people in connection to a suspected drug house.

On Friday night invsetigators made significant arrests while conducting surveillance at a suspected drug house located in the 3700 block of Erath.

After Street Crimes officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle leaving the home, the found a stolen firearm in the vehicle and a stolen laptop.

Officers arrested the driver, Walter Diamond, 47, and charged him with felon in possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property, possession of meth, and possession of marijuana.

His passenger, Santiago Reyes, 54, was arrested for possesion of meth.

Street crimes officers also obtained a search warrant for the home where they discovered additional meth, marijuana, another stolen firearm, and a television with the serial number removed.

This incident is still under investiation at this time.
