Waco, Tx — Waco Police Department is still searching for the person responsible for robbing a Waco credit union last Friday.
According to police, the robbery took place at 6:15 p.m. on August 2 at Covington Credit, located at 2506 West Waco Drive. Officials say the robber entered the rear of the business, armed with a black handgun.
The person responsible is described as a black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, stocky build, wearing a camo ski mask, camo shirt, and tan pants.
Authorities say he managed to get away with cash and a purse from one of the employees before he fled out the back door. The man was seen getting into a late model, white, four door car. He left driving northbound on North 25th Street.
No injuries were reported.
No arrest have been made, and the investigation continues.
