The Waco Police Department has released surveillance pictures of a woman they believe could be responsible for numerous thefts throughout the area.

The female in the pictures is the person of interest.

They know the woman’s name but want to try and catch her in the act.

She is always clothed in nursing scrubs. Police believe the woman has been going to local schools, medical clinics and hospitals taking purses and wallets.

She then uses the credit cards in various stores in the area.

“We want our citizens to be aware of her," said Sgt. Patrick Swanton of Waco Police. "If she shows up to a business we can assure them she’s up to no good. We need to be notified immediately so we can figure out where she is and see if we can’t get our hands on her with stolen property."

She was confronted at a local hospital recently but was able to flee before cops arrived.

If you know, or see this person in public, give Waco Police a call.
