Waco, TX — Two people were allegedly robbed at gunpoint while walking in a Waco field Tuesday evening.
At 5:35 p.m., officers were called to the area of 13th Street and Brook Avenue to reports of an aggravated robbery.
When police arrived at the scene, two 18-year-olds told officials they were walking in an open field when they were approached by two men, one who pulled a handgun on them. The second robber dug through the victims' pockets and took cell phones and money.
The thieves are described as black men, one wearing a red shirt and one wearing a black jacket. They were last seen running in the direction of 15th Street and Bosque Boulevard.
Authorities suspect one of the bandits is known by the victims.
No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made at this time.
