Waco's oldest retail store is saying goodbye

One of the oldest retail businesses in Waco will be closing its doors by the end of this month.
Padgitts electronics has been an iconic retail store in Waco for decades.
The business was originally bought by Tom Padgitt in 1870 for $85. Padgitts was originally opened in Bryan in 1867 then moved to Waco in 1870.
The store will provided photo processing until its last day.
According to store managers, the Austin location will continue to remain open.
