Waco — Police are searching for a woman after she allegedly stabbed her cousin during an argument.

The stabbing happened around 11:18 a.m. on the 1700 block of Dallas Circle Thursday at Trendwood Apartments.

Waco police tell KWKT the 21-year-old victim, Vanity Scott, was arguing with her 23-year-old old cousin over their children when she was stabbed twice, once in the stomach and once in the arm.

Scott’s injuries were not life-threatening, she was however taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The attacker left the scene before officers arrived and has not been found at this time.
