Gov. Rick Perry has issued a proclamation asking Texans to pray for rain -- specifically on Friday through Sunday. He has proclaimed April 22-April 24 to be "Days of Prayer for Rain in the State of Texas."

TEMPLE -- A Temple man is behind bars after he stole a vehicle with an infant in the back seat. 21-year-old Christopher Moreno was working on a home on White Hall Rd. when he suddenly took the vehicle.

TEMPLE -- The victim of a fatal accident in Temple has been identified. Police say 66-year-old Dennis English was walking from Denny's, trying to cross the Interstate 35 at exit 301.

Woman in jail accused of injuring nursing home patient

WACO -- A 28-year-old Waco woman is behind bars accused of hurting a resident at a local nursing home. Police say Eboni Scott worked at the nursing home in the 3800 block of Martin Luther King.
