TEMPLE -- A man is in the hospital due to a possible overdose after a high-speed chase in Temple Sunday night.
It started on I-35 near Midway Dr. when 49-year-old Richard Francis of Round Rock passed police driving dangerously.
Landry James Steele was born July 24, 2010, and died two days later from a bleed in his brain. His mom, Holly Steele, says those were the hardest days of her life, but Scott and White Hospital in Temple provided comfort.
Two Deputy U.S. Marshals and four U.S. Marshal Task Force Officers have been killed since January.
The most recent death, on Monday, when 48 year old U.S. Marshal, John Perry, was killed while trying to serve a warrant.
