1,400 phone jobs coming to Killeen

An outsourcing company is set to add 1,400 jobs to the already 900 it produces in Killeen, and they are looking for people to fill the positions as soon as possible.

Officer released from the hospital and is doing well

Officer Juan Obregon was released from a local hospital today and is doing well. He will continue to be off work for an extended amount of time for his recovery.

Suspect found in fatal hit-and-run

The suspect vehicle and the driver involved in the fatal hit and run last week has been identified. The Traffic Unit is continuing investigation of this incident and information will be released as it becomes available.

Trial delayed for 15-year-old murder case

The trial of a man charged with a murder 15 years ago was set to start this week, until confusion about a plea agreement back in 2002 caused a delay. James Williams is accused of a 1998 drive-by shooting.

McLennan County commissioners further review proposed budget cuts
