Waco, Tx — Waco police are investigating into who and why someone would break into the Humane Society of Central Texas.
Officer Steve Anderson with Waco PD says a call came in from employees of the shelter at 5:35 a.m. on Friday, saying it had been broken into . Anderson says at this point it appears to be the work of criminal mischief.
Dogs and cats were reportedly on the lose, as they were released from their cages.
